The Introduction to Business and Applied Principles of Business and Marketing classes cover introductory concepts to the world of business including the following topics: needs, wants, factors of production, supply, demand, the business cycle, the marketing mix, and target marketing. Students are engaged in individual career exploration, preparation of a resume and cover letter, completion of a job application, and formatting basic business letters and e-mails. Students will also learn about basic interview skills and financial management skills such as filing taxes, managing a bank account, and establishing credit.
