Hello, my name is Susan Yancey and I teach Business and Family & Consumer Science courses at the Middle/High School. I was born and raised in Florida and moved to New York in June of 2003. I am the proud mother of a daughter and son, and grandmother to five precious grandsons and two beautiful granddaughters. I earned my bachelor's degree in Consumer Economics from Florida State University. Before moving to New York, I began working with students by giving tours of our family dairy farm to local school groups. I also served as county curriculum director for the National Agriculture in the Classroom program. In order to supplement our family's farm income, I started working as a substitute teacher and was instantly hooked on education! I began my teaching career in the Madison Central School District and earned my master's degree in Teaching Literacy from Touro College. I have been a proud member of the Morrisville-Eaton learning community since September 2011. In addition to teaching, I also serve as the high school's point of contact for our new partnership with the Manufacturers Association of Central New York/Partners for Education and Business Workforce Development Program and am the coordinator for the Colgate Tutoring Program.
Courses I am currently teaching are: 6th Grade Introduction to Computers 6th Grade Family & Consumer Science Basic Foods Introduction to Business Applied Principles of Business and Marketing
